Argyle Farms sits on the hills above the hamlet of Andes, in the Western Catskills of Delaware County — Tremperskill country, where steep pastures fold over the ridgelines and the winters are honest.

Pasture-Raised

Open grass and open air through every season the ridge allows. Never a feedlot, never a finish taken in a hurry.

Heritage Breeds

Belted Galloway and white-faced Hereford cattle, Cheviot sheep, Boer goats and heritage hogs — old breeds built for hard hill country.

Whole-Animal

We honor the whole animal, nose to tail and box to broth. That is what respect for the herd actually looks like.

Honest Winters

Ridges climbing past three thousand feet and winters that don't bargain. Hard country, patiently worked, makes good stock.
